O Lord,
On that dream-filled night,
on that dreamy night,
Slumber on my eyelids,
with drowsy eyes,
I saw You, saw Your light divine.
I saw you
For Your sitting beside and speaking with,
in the reflection of your light.
No one was there that night resplendent.

On that illuminated night,
You pulled back a latch and came inside;
there was no one
Through a window, my life entered the room.
to sit near you
Alone I'd been sitting in deep, dark gloom;
nor to communicate with.
That was suffused by Your refulgent light.

You opened the bolts of my windows
Everyone is Yours, to me You told...
and entered the room,
"No reason is there for sinking into weeping...
infusing it with new life.
Those whose eyes shed tears perpetually,

They cry purely from yearning to realize their goal."
The intense darkness
that i was dwelling in,
became filled with the beauty of illumination.

You told me that all are yours
and that there should be no reason
for wasting one's time crying.

One whose tears flow on ceaselessly,
is to cry for the attainment of his/her goal only.
