Ákáshe áj kiser álo
Maner májhe ke jáge
Vaner májhe ke se elo
Ráuṋálo phágun pháge

Bhomrá ese kay je káńe
Tomár katháo áche mane
Vasanteri rauṋiin háoyáy
Man rauṋábo kár ráge

Cáṋd bhásiye jyotsnáráshi
Kay se hese miśt́i hási
Oŕná mele eso cale
Apsaráder gulbáge

আকাশে আজ কিসের আলো
মনের মাঝে কে জাগে
বনের মাঝে কে সে এলো
রাঙালো ফাগুন ফাগে

ভোমরা এসে’ কয় যে কাণে
তোমার কথাও আছে মনে
বসন্তেরই রঙীন হাওয়ায়
মন রাঙাবো কার রাগে

চাঁদ ভাসিয়ে’ জ্যোৎস্নারাশি
কয় সে হেসে’ মিষ্টি হাসি
ওড়না মেলে’ এসো চলে’
অপ্সরাদের গুলবাগে

Whose effulgence appears in the sky?
Who remains ever alert in my mind?
Who comes into my garden,
colouring it with festive colours?

The bee came
and whispered into my ear
that i am considered.

During this colourful breeze of spring,
in what colour should you colour my mind?

By spreading light from the moon,
while spreading his wings,
He says with a sweet smile:
"come and move towards the heavenly garden."
