Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Álor rath jáy
Jáy jáy jáy
Kásher vaner pásht́i diye
Shiuli jhará patht́i beye
Shishir bhejá mát́h periye
Ákásh páne cáy cáy cáy

Práńer parág sauṋge kare
Maner końe jhilik mere
Bádhár práciir cúrńa kare
Kon ajánáy dháy dháy dháy

Puiṋjibhúta megh sariye
Rauṋin ákásh jágiye diye
Miśt́imadhur parash niye
Dúrer giiti gáy gáy gáy

The chariot of light moves on,
it moves on.
Passing through a path spread with shiuli flowers,
it adjoins the forest of tall ka'sh grass,
and, crossing dew wet fields,
it advances, looking towards the sky.

Taking along the essence of life,
with light, flashing in the corner of mind,
it crushes the walls of obstrution,
and rushes on to an unknown destination.

Removing the accumulated clouds,
raising colours in the sky,
and providing a sweet touch,
it sings the song of the far distance.
