Ámár kathá eta dine
Paŕlo prabhu tava mane
Tumi chile ámáy bhule
Tomár jata bhakta sane

Bhule chile avahele
Bhakta ámi nai ko bale
Ámáy dharáy pát́iyechile
Táo ki chilo ná smarańe

(Áj) Tomár liiláy tomár krpáy
Tomáy dhari mane práńe

আমার কথা এত দিনে
পড়লো প্রভু তব মনে
তুমি ছিলে আমায় ভুলে
তোমার যত ভক্ত সনে

ভুলে ছিলে অবহেলে
ভক্ত আমি নই কো বলে
আমায় ধরায় পাঠিয়েছিলে
তাও কি ছিলো না স্মরণে

(আজ) তোমার লীলায় তোমার কৃপায়
তোমায় ধরি মনে প্রাণে

After so long, my story
Has come to Your attention, Lord.
You had been neglecting me,
Being with Your votaries.

To forget me was easy;
After all, I am not a devotee.
To earth You dispatched me;
Was that also not in memory?

Today, at Your whim and by Your grace,
With heart and soul, I cherish Thee.
