Ábol tábol nay sojá kathát́i
Bale jete cái (áj)

Ákáshe legeche rámdhanura khelá
Mát́ite rayeche náná rúpera melá
Tári májhe váyu bahe bháve utalá
Ámi iháder sakalke báṋcáite cái

Rúp ras gandha já áche dharáte
Sneha bhálobásá já áche manete
Iháder niśkalmaś karite
Eso háte háte sáthe sáthe káj kare jái

আমি ঋজুপথে চলে' চলি ভাই
আবোল-তাবোল নয় সোজা কথাটি
বলে' যেতে চাই (আজ)

আকাশে লেগেছে রামধনুর খেলা
মাটিতে রয়েছে নানা রূপের মেলা
তারই মাঝে বায়ু বহে ভাবে উতলা
আমি ইহাদের সকলকে বাঁচাইতে চাই

রূপ-রস-গন্ধ যা' আছে ধরাতে
স্নেহ-ভালবাসা যা' আছে মনেতে
ইহাদের নিষ্কল্মষ করিতে
এসো হাতে হাতে সাথে সাথে কাজ করে' যাই

I walk along an upright path, my cousin;
No nonsense, candid words,
I would speak today.

In the heavens a display of rainbows has begun;
Upon the earth diverse beauties abound–
Twixt the two an exhilarating wind is blowing...
I want to preserve them all, sustain everybody.

All the shapes, tastes, and bouquets in the world,
And all the love and affection in the heart—
To make them all clean and pure,
Come forthwith, together let us work.
