Bhávcho tumi káhár kathá
Já khushi tá bhávte páro
Jáni bhávcho ná mor kathá

Din ket́eche avaheláy
Kata sakál sandhyábeláy
Kata je klesh saye gechi
Jáno ná ki ámár vyathá

Phul phút́eche prasannatáy
Sonár álo legeche gáy
Se je khara tápe shukiye jáy
Bojha ná tár kátaratá

আপন মনে বসে বসে
ভাবছো তুমি কাহার কথা
যা খুশী তা ভাবতে পারো
জানি ভাবছো না মোর কথা

দিন কেটেছে অবহেলায়
কত সকাল সন্ধ্যাবেলায়
কত যে ক্লেশ সয়ে গেছি
জানো না কি আমার ব্যথা

ফুল ফুটেছে প্রসন্নতায়
সোণার আলো লেগেছে গায়
সে যে খর তাপে শুকিয়ে যায়
বোঝ না তার কাতরতা

O Lord,
who do you think of
in your mind?

Whatever you may please or think,
I know you are not thinking about me.

Numerous days,
mornings and evenings
passed by,
deprived of your attention.

How much agonies have i tolerated?
Do not you know my pain?

Flowers bloomed in joy,
by the touch of golden light,
but dried up in intense sun.
