Asociatia de Ajutor AMURTEL Romania is the Romanian branch of Ananda Marga Universal Relief Team Ladies or AMURTEL.[1]
History
In 1978 Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar founded Ananda Marga Universal Relief Team with the objective to to respond to specifically to the problems faced by women and children in their daily-life struggles. It started growing quickly and had its branch in several countries. The Romanian branch of AMURTEL, which is also known as Asociatia de Ajutor AMURTEL Romania, was founded in 1995 by a group of local and international women volunteers.[1]
