Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Bandhu ámár eso go práńe
Ákásh ekhan kavitáy bhará
Cáṋdera hási máná ná máne
Cáṋdera hási svapan áne

(Bhálabásá tava) E kii abhinava
Chanda jágáy nitya nava nava
Dhará paŕe gecho lukiye kena ácho
(Áṋkhi) Mele cáo ámári páne

(Satata tomári) Pathe calibo
Sakal rakame tava mana bholábo
Manete mete áchi bhay bhule gechi
(Nirdvidháy) Jábo tomári gáne

My abiding friend, come into my heart;
The sky is now filled with poetry.
The moon's brightness knows no bounds—
The moon's brightness carries dreams.

Your love, it is unprecedented!
Ever it arouses new, new rhythm.
You've been detected, so why hide?
Open Your eyes; gaze in my direction.

Forever on Your path I will move;
In all ways I will please You greatly.
Enraptured, I've forgotten fear;
Unwavering, I will proceed in only Your song.
