Tomáre bhuliyá vipathe calechi
Párini nijeke káje nite

Kata din geche sandhyá hayeche
Kata vibhávarii káṋdiyá ket́eche
Calite párini path páini go
Ápani esecho nite sáthe (áj)

Sab játanár sab hatáshár
Sheś halo tumi ese jete

এসেছিলে প্রভু ঘুম ভাঙ্গাতে
চেতনার পথে নিয়ে যেতে (আমায়)
তোমারে ভুলিয়া বিপথে চলেছি
পারিনি নিজেকে কাজে নিতে

কত দিন গেছে সন্ধ্যা হয়েছে
কত বিভাবরী কাঁদিয়া কেটেছে
চলিতে পারিনি পথ পাইনি গো
আপনি এসেছো নিতে সাথে (আজ)

সব যাতনার সব হতাশার
শেষ হলো তুমি এসে' যেতে

Master, You had come to shatter sleep,
To take me with You on the path of sensibility.
I have strayed, forgetting Thee;
I could not keep myself busy.

Many days have passed and become evening;
Many nights have gone by, shedding tears.
The path, oh I found it not... I could not proceed;
But now You have arrived to take me with.

All sufferings and all despondency...
The end came, Yourself having come to leave.
