Esecho hiyá jinecho
Tárpar gecho je cale
Hesecho bhálobesecho
Bhulecho bhálobesechile

Mor giiti se tomári lági
Mor priiti sadá tháke jági
Niyecho niye je gecho
Já diyechi paráńa d́hele

Mor áṋkhi jhare tomá lági
Sadá d́áki divá nishi jági
Bujhechi bujhe niyechi
Bhule bhálabásiyáchile
Bhul bheuṋge geche tái
Gecho je cale

এসেছো হিয়া জিনেছো
তারপর গেছো যে চলে
হেসেছো ভালোবেসেছো
ভুলেছো ভালোবেসেছিলে

মোর গীতি সে তোমারই লাগি
মোর প্রীতি সদা থাকে জাগি
নিয়েছো নিয়ে যে গেছো
যা দিয়েছি পরাণ ঢেলে

মোর আঁখি ঝরে তোমা লাগি
সদা ডাকি দিবা-নিশি জাগি
বুঝেছি বুঝে নিয়েছি
ভুলে ভালবাসিয়াছিলে
ভুল ভেঙ্গে গেছে তাই
গেছো যে চলে

O Lord,
You came,
You won my heart,
but thereafter, went away.

You smiled,
You loved,
but then forgot that you had loved me.

My song is for you only,
my love remains ever awakened.
Whatever i have given you with all my heart,
You accepted,
and took away.

My eyes flow tears for you,
constantly calling you,
and remaining awake day and night.

I understand now
that you had loved me by mistake.
Realising your mistake,
You went away.
