Ghana varaśá ráte ketakii máyáte
Háráno hiyár khoṋje esecha priya (tumi)
Nishchidra áṋdháre báre báre
Núpur bejechila atulaniiya (tava)

Eká tumi sab áṋdhár saráye dile
Ek cáṋd nabhoniile álo jharáile
Tiirthapati tumi sabára sáthii
Sabár hrdaye sama varańiiya

Puiṋjiibhúta gláni nimeśe saráye dile
Sakal niráshá cakite hariyá nile
Bháṋt́ara t́áne bhesechi ánamane
Joyáre bahále he ádarańiiya (more)

ঘন বরষা রাতে কেতকী মায়াতে
হারানো হিয়ার খোঁজে এসেছ প্রিয় (তুমি)
নিশ্ছিদ্র আঁধারে বারে বারে
নূপুর বেজেছিল অতুলনীয় (তব)

একা তুমি সব আঁধার সরায়ে দিলে
এক চাঁদ নভোনীলে আলো ঝরাইলে
তীর্থপতি তুমি সবার সাথী
সবার হৃদয়ে সম বরণীয়

পুঞ্জীভূত গ্লানি নিমেষে সরায়ে দিলে
সকল নিরাশা চকিতে হরিয়া নিলে
ভাঁটার টানে ভেসেছি আনমনে
জোয়ারে বহালে হে আদরণীয় (মোরে)

O dear lord,
You came,
with the enchanting ketakii fragrance,
looking for my lost heart
during an intensely rainy night.

In total darkness,
Your unique ankle bell
tinkled again and again.

Single handed
You removed my entire darkness,
like a single moon,
that radiates light in the blue sky.

O lord of all places of pilgrimage,
You are the companion of all,
You are revered by all hearts equally.

Within moments,
You removed my accumulated agonies.
And surprisingly, pulled off my entire disapointments.
I was floating about aimlessly;
You placed me in the tide,
O respected entity!
