Parama Puruśa Doesn't Hate Anyone is a discourse given by Shrii Shrii Anandamurti in Kolkata, India on the evening of 1978 November 3. This discourse is the ninth chapter of Ananda Vacanamrtam Part 4.[1]

Synopsis

The wild animals and birds cannot hate anyone even if they wish to. In the same way, even if Parama Puruśa wishes to hate someone who may be a scoundrel, He cannot. The moment He thinks about hating someone, He immediately remembers that the person is His child and says, “Come my child, come onto my lap. Don’t repeat this sort of mistake in future.

Shrii Shrii Anandamurti

Anandamurti starts the discourse by saying that as long as people remember that they are part and parcel of the cosmic Purusa (consciousness), no inimical reactions from others can disturb their thinking. Anandamurti then explains that no one is perfect except for Parama Purusa and until they finally merge in Him. Society may condemn and punish individuals for their sinful conduct, and that creates deterrence; but Parama Purusa can never hate anyone as all are His children. Anandamurti goes on saying that the two things Parama Purusa can never do are: (1) create another God like Himself and (2) hate someone. Human beings may hate others and go to lawyers in order to settle an argument; but, like a parent, God may scold children but never hate them.[1]
