Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Prabhu ámi bhálobási tomáy bhálobási
Tava nayan bhuláno madhur hási bhálobási

Vratatii tarute kusumareńute
Nabhoniilimáy saritár srote
Chaŕáye diyecho madhura hásit́i
Sakal tamisrá náshi

Girikandare mahodadhitale
Ańute ańute bhávera atale
Rahiyácho tumi cirajágrata
Maner madhukorake bhási

Lord, I love You, I love You.
I love Your ravishing honeyed smile./O Lord I love You so much!
I love your sweet and ravishing brightness.

In creeping plants, in flower pollen,
In the azure void, in flowing streams—
With a sprinkling of Your sweet laughter/brightness,
All gloom is dispelled.

In mountain caves, below the ocean surface,
In each and every atom, in the deepest of thoughts—
You remain ever attentive,
Overflowing in the sweet bud of the heart.
