Shraddhananda Avadhuta (June 1919— 15 October 2008) was a monk of Ananda Marga Pracaraka Samgha. He was personally initiated by Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar in 1954. He was the Purodha Pramukha of Ananda Marga Pracaraka Samgha between 1990 to 2008.[1]

Biography

Shraddhananda Avadhuta was born in June 1919 in north India. After finishing his education he got a job at the Central Board of Excise and Customs. In 1954 he was imitated by Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar himself. In 1964 he decided to renounce and became an avadhuta of Ananda Marga. For next two decades he worked in Central Office as the editor of Ananda Marga magazines Prajina Bharatii in English, Hindi and Bengali, and Ananda Yuga and Ánanda Rekha in Hindi.
