To Save Humanity is a discourse given by Shrii Shrii Anandamurti in Frankfurt, Germany. The discourse was delivered in English on the evening of 1979 September 19. This discourse is the seventeenth chapter of Ananda Vacanamrtam Part 34.[1]

Synopsis

You should know that great or good people are few in number; they are not many. They do not come within the scope of millions or billions. They are always few in number. And these few, they are the torchbearers of human society, they are the pioneers, they are the vanguards of human society.

Shrii Shrii Anandamurti

Anandamurti starts the discourse by saying that in the course of movement, it is natural for crisis to arise. Anandamurti then explains that, unlike different types of junctures in the past, nowadays humanity is facing an existential crisis resulting from much bigotry and defamation. Anandamurti goes on saying that good people are indeed fewer in number. Nevertheless, their optimism and missionary spirit will serve as a lamplight to illuminate humanity's path.[1]
