Tomáre cái je hiyá bhari
Jyotsná nishiithe krśńá tithite
Sukhe duhkhe tomáy smari

Man cale jáy dúrákáshe
Tomári chavi je sethá bháse
Nabhoniilimáy vanaviithikáy
Niira jharańáy ácho gheri

Maru mariiciká tapta báluká
Malaya pavane snigdha alaká
Sabár májhare heri je tomáre
Áro káche eso krpá kari (tumi)

তোমারে চাই যে মনে প্রাণে
তোমারে চাই যে হিয়া ভরি’
জ্যোৎস্না নিশীথে কৃষ্ণা তিথিতে
সুখে দুঃখে তোমায় স্মরি

মন চলে যায় দূরাকাশে
তোমারই ছবি যে সেথা ভাসে
নভোনীলিমায় বনবীথিকায়
নীর-ঝরণায় আছো ঘেরি’

মরু-মরীচিকা তপ্ত বালুকা
মলয় পবনে স্নিগ্ধ অলকা
সবার মাঝারে হেরি’ যে তোমারে
আরও কাছে এসো কৃপা করি’ (তুমি)

O lord,
I love you heart and soul,
I love you wholeheartedly.

In moonlit nights,
in dark nights,
in pain and in pleasure,
I remember you.

My mind drifts off into the far sky,
where your image appears.

It surrounds me
in the blue colour of the sky,
in forestpaths and in waterfalls,
even in the mirage of forests,
in the hot sand,
in the soothing sandal breeze
and in soft hairs.

Amidst it all,
I search you. kindly come close,
come still closer.
