Balo kár kathá mane rákhi
Kár bharasáy ese tháki
Rikta ei tribhúvane
Eta d́áki tabu dhará náhi dáo
Tái ei kathá bhávi mane

Abhraḿlehii parvat dekhi
Tuśárshubhra máthá nata rákhi
Ashrute gali jánáy prańati
Tomár rátul shriicarańe

Gurugarjane niilodadhi dháy
Tomár mahimá kánáy kánáy
Báhu prasáriyá dharite je cáy
Tomár mádhurii bhará práńe

তোমায় যদি ভুলে’ থাকি
বলো কার কথা মনে রাখি
কার ভরসায় এসে’ থাকি
রিক্ত এই ত্রিভূবনে
এত ডাকি তবু ধরা নাহি দাও
তাই এই কথা ভাবি মনে

অভ্রংলেহী পর্বত দেখি
তুষারশুভ্র মাথা নত রাখি'
অশ্রুতে গলি’ জানায় প্রণতি
তোমার রাতুল শ্রীচরণে

গুরুগর্জনে নীলোদধি ধায়
তোমার মহিমা কানায় কানায়
বাহু প্রসারিয়া ধরিতে যে চায়
তোমার মাধুরী-ভরা প্রাণে

O lord,
if there be need to forget you,
tell me about whom i should think?
With what consolation did i come
to this void world?

I called you much,
but you did not allow yourself to be attained.
That is why, i cannot but think this way.

When i see the sky touching mountains,
I find that they also keep their head bowed
and remain covered with white ice.
By melting into tears,
they display their reverence for your pink feet.

The blue ocean,
overwhelmingly with a loud roar,
rushes unto your greatness.
With arms spread out wide,
filled with sweet vitality,
it desires to get hold of you.
