Lyrics

Roman script Bengali script Translation

Varaśá eseche niipanikuiṋje
Betasakuiṋje nácite nácite
Shikhirá sakale chande meteche

Viińára dhvanite mandrita giitite
Chandahárá dhará práń peyeche

Juthir suvás bháse sajala haoyáy
Maner parág háse madhura máyáy
Chande chande vipulánande
Ádhmará taru sab jege ut́heche

In the bower of begonia, the rains have come,
Dancing and dancing in the fields of cane.
And all the peacocks have started prancing in rhythm.
In the vibrant songs of the resounding lyres,
The world without rhythm discovers new life.
And all the peacocks have started prancing in rhythm.
The fragrance of jasmine floats in the wet air.
The pollen of mind smiles in sweetest love.
Thrilling in blissful rhythms,
Dying trees spring to life.
And all the peacocks have started prancing in rhythm.
