Vijane basiya kii jena kahile is the 890th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Vijane basiyá kii jena kahile
Ke jáne se kathá kár tare
Kon ajánáy hese cale gele
Ámáre bhuliyá akátare

Kata din gelo kata más gelo
Varaśer par jug jhare gelo
Mor áṋkhi jhare sei kathá ghire
Smrticarańáy báre báre

Máyár kánane eká base base
Haráno diner giiti áse bhese
Se madhur smrti ná bholá se giiti
Asiimer priiti dey bhare

O Lord,
seated in isolation,
You spoke something...
who knows for or to whom you spoke.

To which unknown destination
did you smilingly leave,
forgetting me seemingly unconcerned.

How many days, months,
years and ages
passed by?
When thinking of it,
tears flow from my eyes non stop.

When alone in this forest of ma'ya',
the songs of those bygone days,
come floating about.

Those sweet memories
and unforgettable songs
fill in me the infinite's love.
