Andhara sheshe alora deshe is the third song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2][3] It is also known as Navyammanavatader Giita (song of Neohumanism).[4]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Áṋdhára sheśe álora deshe
Aruń bhorer kathá
Shońabo sabáy d́eke d́eke (bhai)

Táráy bhará oi je ákásh
Gandhamadir ei je vátás
Sabár májhe ámi áchi
Phuler parág mane mekhe

Carań tale ei je mát́i
Nikhád sońár ceyeo kháṋt́i
Sabuj cháyáy mrger máyáy
Nácche nútan abhiśeke

At end of gloom, in the light's realm,
News of the crimson dawn
I will proclaim to my siblings, everyone.

Yonder the sky, it is star-studded;
And on the air there is a heady scent.
Living in the midst of all am I,
The flower pollen having smeared my mind.

The soil underneath my feet, lo
It is purer than the purest gold.
In the green shade, deer are entranced;
Consecrated, once again they dance.

Purport

This is how Sarkar himself described the meaning of the song—[4]

Darkness has come to an end, crossing the threshold at the edge of light. Now is the proper time to call all and announce that the crimson dawn has come. The beautiful sky is studded with so many stars, the air is sweetly scented. The atmosphere, lithosphere, hydrosphere everything is closely related to me. All the flora and fauna I must preserve; I must save them from premature extinction, because I love everything of this earth. I am a neohumanist. I call one and all to come and create a new rhythm.
