Tumi cale gele bahú dúre

Áj páshe baso áro káche ese
Dhyánamájhe baso mrdu hese hese
Abhimán nái sadá gán gái
Tomári surete báṋshi pure

Man theke geche bhare bhare

ভরা বাদলে তুমি এসেছিলে
এসেছিলে প্রভু সুরে সুরে
অভিমানে আমি মূক মুখে ছিনু
তুমি চলে গেলে বহু দূরে

আজ পাশে বসো আরো কাছে এসে
ধ্যনমাঝে বসো মৃদু হেসে হেসে
অভিমান নাই সদা গান গাই

রুনু ঝুনু ঝুনু তোমারই নূপুরে
মন থেকে গেছে ভরে ভরে

Showering rain You had come;
You had come with tune after tune, Lord.
Out of pride, I kept silent;
And You went far away—

Today, having come closer, sit by my side;
Linger in my meditation with Your tender smiles.
Ego-free, I ever sing;
To Your tunes, the flute sounds—

With the jingling ring of Your ankle bells
