(Se je) Jyotir chat́áy bhásiye dilo
Vishvabhúvan ráuṋiye diye
Práńer áloy bhariye dilo

Bale keu to ámár par nái
Sabáike sáthe nite cái
Ámi shudhu mrdu hese shudhu bhálabese
(Ámi) Asiimer páne nece jái
(Se je) Sabár citta jiniyá nilo

Sabár maner marmavedaná
Bujhe se je sántvaná dilo

Álor ságar tolpáŕ kare
Sabákár hiyá mátiye dilo

(সে যে) জ্যোতির ছটায় ভাসিয়ে দিলো
বিশ্বভূবন রাঙিয়ে দিয়ে
প্রাণের আলোয় ভরিয়ে দিলো

বলে কেউ তো আমার পর নাই
সবাইকে সাথে নিতে চাই
আমি শুধু মৃদু হেসে শুধু ভালবেসে
(আমি) অসীমের পানে নেচে যাই
(সে যে) সবার চিত্ত জিনিয়া নিলো

সবার মনের মর্মবেদনা
বুঝে সে যে সান্ত্বনা দিলো

আলোর সাগর তোলপাড় করে
সবাকার হিয়া মাতিয়ে দিলো

He has spread the splendor of effulgence.
Embellishing the entire universe,
He filled it with lifelight.

He told: "No one is unrelated to Me;
I want to carry everyone along.
With but a tender smile, with only love,
I go on dancing toward infinity."
It is He who has won the hearts of all.

The collective mental anguish—
He discerned it and gave solace.

He stirred up the sea of light;
He impassioned every mind.
