Man jadi mor kabhu bheuṋge jáy
Tumi theko prabhu páshe theko
Páper tamasá d́hákite cáhile
Álo diye more ghire rekho (tumi)

Varśá nishiithe jhaiṋjhára váte
Bhaye jadi káṋdi vibhiisikáte
Madhur háter parash buláye
Priiti cáhanite more dekho

Din áse jáy mayúkha máláy
Ságara beláy srote bhese jáy
Tava tarańiite sthán diye more
Uśńiik ráge madhu mekho

মন যদি মোর কভু ভেঙ্গে যায়
তুমি থেকো প্রভু পাশে থেকো
পাপের তমসা ঢাকিতে চাহিলে
আলো দিয়ে মোরে ঘিরে রেখো (তুমি)

বর্ষা নিশীথে ঝঞ্জার বাতে
ভয়ে যদি কাঁদি বিভীষিকাতে
মধুর হাতের পরশ বুলায়ে
প্রীতি-চাহনিতে মোরে দেখো

দিন আসে যায় ময়ূখ মালায়
সাগর বেলায় স্রোতে ভেসে যায়
তব তরণীতে স্থান দিয়ে মোরে
উষ্ণীক্ রাগে মধু মেখো

Any time my heart gets broken,
Please remain, Lord; stay by my side.
When the darkness of sin wants to invite;
Please surround me with Your light.

On monsoon night or neath blizzard wind,
In panic should I weep from fear,
Then Your kind hand brushing gently,
With a look of love please glance at me.

Days come and go wreathed in lightbeams,
Drifting downstream to the bank of sea.
Affording me a place on Your holy ferry,
By warm affection, do coat with honey.
