Ogo priya ogo priya, ogo priya amay bhulio na tumi is the 73rd song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2][3] For other songs with the same or similar first line (title), see Ogo priya ogo priya.

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Ogo priya ogo priya
Ogo priya ámáy bhulio ná tumi
Tomáy pete álor pathe cali ámi

Dharáy esechi tomár káj karite go
Bhálobesechi tomár[nb 2] gán shońáte go

Ańute ańute tomár liilá
Surete surete tomár khelá

Chandete chandete túmi náco
Randhre randhre tumi lukiye ácho

Darling, oh my Darling—
Oh Darling, that You don't forget me,
To gain Thee, on the path of light I journey.

To execute Your work, I have come to this world;
I have liked to make Your song be heard!

In every atom is Your play;
In every tune is Your game.

In every beat You dance;
In every pore You're under wraps.

Notes

  1. ^ For details on the notation, see Roman Bengali transliteration.
  2. ^ Although tomár has been published in both the English and the Bengali books,[2][3] tomáy is sung; and some sources confirm that word. Perhaps tomár is more consistent with the flow of this song. However, if the correct word is tomáy, then the translation of this line would be: "I've liked much to sing for You."
