Refuge for All is the fifth discourse in the series Ananda Vacanamrtam given by Shrii Shrii Anandamurti in Patna, India. This discourse focuses on liberation.[1]

Synopsis

“If, leaving every thing, a sudurácárii takes refuge in Me [the Lord] and meditates only on Me without any second thought, his saḿskáras [mental reactive momenta] shall also be finished and he shall be freed from all sins.” One who sings My name and takes shelter in Me single-mindedly gets liberated.[1]

Shrii Shrii Anandamurti

In this discourse, Anandamurti defines the terms durácárii and sudurácárii in order to present the concepts of both family and liberation. He states that even those who cause the most harm to society continue to be members of the human family. As such, they are entitled to seek refuge in the Lord. Anandamurti presents the path to liberation for the sudurácárii thereby guaranteeing a bright future as well for those whom society considers the worst. At the end of the discourse, Anandamurti offers solace for all with the words, "Parama Puruśa is your closest friend. You are never alone. He cannot be indifferent to your sufferings. He feels your pain. Act as per His biddings and get free from your sufferings."[1]
