Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Shuddhasattva pávaker shuci
Tomár anal eneche
Prajiṋájyotir bodhisattva
Tava jiṋánáloke bheseche

Jaŕer prabháve acetan man
Pratisaiṋcare pelo je jiivan
Bhálabásá bhará ábhog bhúmite
Púrńáhuti se diyeche

Dyuloker dyuti námiyá eseche
Tomár krpáy dhará je sejeche
Bhúlok dyulok duliyá ut́heche
Práńer pratiiti jegeche

Pristine Lord, the righteous ones
Have brought with them Your fire.
Enlightened rays of profound wisdom
Floated on Your wisdom's light.

Under matter's sway, mind insensate,
To life it came in the introversive phase.[nb 2]
When filled with love, on earth's expanse
Final oblation she has given.

Heaven's splendor has descended;
With Your grace the world's bedecked.
Earth and heaven have rose up reeling;
They've awakened to life's meaning.

  2. ^ According to the yogic cosmology of Ananda Marga, the cycle of creation from consciousness back to consciousness (Brahma Cakra) has two phases: an extroversive phase (saiṋcara) and an introversive phase (pratisaiṋcara). See Sutra 1-3 of Ananda Sutram.
