The Best Process is a discourse given by Shrii Shrii Anandamurti. This discourse is the second chapter of Ananda Vacanamrtam Part 34.[1]

Synopsis

For the attainment of mokśa, one should follow certain processes. There are certain practices. "Amongst those processes or practices,” the sádhakas say, “the best one is bhakti [devotion]; that is, the suspension of the cruder self into the subtler self is done best by bhakti."

Shrii Shrii Anandamurti

Anandamurti starts the discourse by saying that bhakti (devotion) is the best way for obtaining mokśa (salvation). Anandamurti then says that for the process of merging oneself with the Supreme there are two phases: acquiring knowledge regarding the goal (jiṋana) and doing service (karma sádhaná). The result of these two phases is bhakti. Anandamurti goes on explaining that in the process of coming closer to the Lord and merging with Him, bhakti is indispensable.[1]
