The Seven Secrets of Success is a discourse given by Shrii Shrii Anandamurti on 1978 October 3 in Patna, India. This discourse is the third chapter of Ananda Vacanamrtam Part 3.[1]

Synopsis

This firm determination is the result of extreme love for the Supreme Entity. When this love for the Supreme remains unassailed, uncontaminated, it creates this firm determination: "I must be successful in my mission." This is the first secret of success.

Shrii Shrii Anandamurti

Anandamurti starts the discourse by introducing one of Parvatii's questions to Lord Shiva, "What are the secrets of success?" Anandamurti then explains each of Shiva's Seven Secrets: Firm determination, unwavering movement toward one's ideological goal, respect for Guru, mental equilibrium, all-round self-restraint, and a meticulous selection of food. Anandamurti goes on saying that according to Shiva, if all six points are practiced, a seventh point is unneeded.[1]
