Tumi esecho madhu d́helecho
Hiyá álokita karecho
Mrdu hesecho áṋkhi melecho
Gláni saráye diyecho

Mor priiti je tomáre jáne
Mor giiti je tomáre t́áne
Mor smrti kahe káńe káńe
Tumi náhi bhule rayecho

Kabariite ájo áche tava deoyá phul
Sharvarii ájo more kare je ákul
Púraviite tán dhare hai je vyákul
Bujhi tumi shuńe calecho

তুমি এসেছো মধু ঢেলেছো
হিয়া আলোকিত করেছো
মৃদু হেসেছো আঁখি মেলেছো
গ্লানি সরায়ে’ দিয়েছো

মোর প্রীতি যে তোমারে জানে
মোর গীতি যে তোমারে টানে
মোর স্মৃতি কহে কাণে কাণে
তুমি নাহি ভুলে’ রয়েছো

কবরীতে আজও আছে তব দেওয়া ফুল
শর্বরী আজও মোরে করে যে আকুল
পূরবীতে তান ধরে’ হই যে ব্যাকুল
বুঝি তুমি শুণে’ চলেছো

O lord,
You came,
poured sweetness on me,
and illuminated my heart.

You smiled softly,
opened my eyes,
and removed my agony.

My love knows you
and my songs are meant to attract you.

My memory whispers into my ears
that you have not forgotten me.

The flower given by you
beautifies my chignon even today.

The nights make me restless even today.

Taking the tune of separation,
I sing from the core of my being,
hoping you might still listen.
