Prabhu theko amar pashe pashe is the 598th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2] It has been alleged that this song might have been sung by Sarkar in 1978 or 1979 while dictating Namah Shivaya Shantaya.[3] This unsourced information cannot be entirely correct, because all of the content of Namah Shivaya Shantaya was given in 1982. Of the twenty "discourses" that make up the book, the first eight were delivered in Kolkata in the form of pravacans (formal speeches). That was in April and May of 1982. Tape recordings of those discourses might still exist. The remaining discourses were indeed given in the form of dictation. Those dictations were given in June, July, and August of 1982.[4]
