Today, in this shattered mind, Who is singing?
Today, who is singing a song
He sings, yes, He sings.
in this broken heart of mine?

An unknown tune has arose, sonorous—
An unknown tune resonates,
It has filled the sky and the wind.
filling the sky and air.
And it has touched the core of my heart,
Giving a stir that heeds no proscription.

In lovely radiance, Earth became splendorous;
He has touched the core of my heart,
Melodic moonbeams have abolished all despair.
churning it without inhibition.
Creating a flood of tender sweetness,

Who rocked Heaven with an unfamiliar strain?
That beautiful effulgence illuminates the earth.
By the nectar of melody
all disappointments vanish.

Flooding a sweet affection,
who has swayed the heaven,
executing this unparalleled melody?

Gan shonay aji ke e bhaunga mane is the 656th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Gán shońáy áji ke e bháuṋgá mane
Gán shońáy gán shońáy

Ajáná ráginii dhvaniyá ut́heche
Ákásh vátás bhariyá giyáche
Hiyára gahane choṋyá je diyeche
Áloŕita kare ke ná máná mene

Rúpera áloke dhará álokita
Sureri sudhásáre hatáshá apaniita
Mamatá mádhuriite kariyá plávita
Dyuloka dolálo ke acená táne

Today, who is singing a song
in this broken heart of mine?

An unknown tune resonates,
filling the sky and air.

He has touched the core of my heart,
churning it without inhibition.

That beautiful effulgence illuminates the earth.
By the nectar of melody
all disappointments vanish.

Flooding a sweet affection,
who has swayed the heaven,
executing this unparalleled melody?
