ফুলের বনে ভোমরা এল
(কেন বলো গো) কেন বলো
সে ফুল ছিল মনের বনে
সৌরভেতে উচ্ছল

ঝড় ঝাপটা তুষার শিশির
আঘাত এসেছিল কুহেলীর
সঙ্গোপনে মোর মননে
প্রীতির কলি বেঁচেছিল

ভোমরা এল অকস্মাৎ
না বলে না কয়ে হঠাৎ
প্রাণের মধু অচিন বঁধু
উজাড় করে' নিয়ে গেল

The bee came to the floral garden,
tell me what for?
that flower was vibrant with fragrance
in the garden of the mind.
through storms, strong winds, snow and dew
blows came under fog,
but the bud of love remained survived
secretly within my mind.
the bee came suddenly, surprisingly,
without speaking or announcing.
the unknown friend took away
totally the honey within.
