- ^ The Subarnarekha River runs through Ananda Nagar. Literally, the name of the river means "streak of gold" or "gold line". So there is a double meaning here. The other shore of the Subarnarekha River could signify the realm of pure consciousness that is beyond the highest layer of mind.
