In a trice everybody's mind and heart You captivated.
You continue awakened from ages to ages

Age after age You go on staying at the head of all awakened,
smearing impulse of affection
Coating a fond sweetness on full extent of pain and pleasure.

Musing You obliterated, swing to psyche having given.

Mamatá mádhurii mekhe sukhe duhkhe sab ábhoge
Tumi cira anubhava nitya nava nava
Manete dolá diye manane bhuliye dile

Bholá náhi jáy tava ahetukii karuńáy
Jiivan chande bhese jáo shyáma suśamáy
Tumi ácho tái áchi carań ghiriyá náci
Mádhurii d́háliyá diye kalápe prati pale
