O Lord, after so many ages You came,
After ages aplenty You did arrive;
how much have I called You?
Unto You many times have I prayed come,
In how many sunlight
In much frightful gloom and much sunshine,
and how many intense darkness,
Night and day so very much...
how many days and nights

I went on calling You?
On summer noon with temperature very high,
In the hot sunny noon,
In monsoon with anklets drenched, rain thereby,
in wet tinkling of rains,
Dew-soaked in autumn with [[:wikipedia:Nyctanthes arbor-tristis|sorrow's tree blooming at night]];
in due moist shepha’lii flowers of autumns,
Through so much action and so much thought...
with ideation in many jobs

I continued calling You.
Under cold pre-winter winds, I've kept up the summons;
I went on calling You
Shivering in winter, I've called through extreme inertia.
in frosty winds of  pre-winter.
And on spring with new green leaves, a great beauty floral,
During intense inertial cold
In climates colorful, ruled by [[:wikipedia:Apsara|apsaras]]...
of winter with shiver.
During the spring with the beauty of
new tender leaves and flowers.
In colorful airs of the heavenly
kingdom of angels.

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Kata juga pare ele
Kata d́ekechi tomáy
Kata saorakare kata ghor timire
Kata divase nisháy

Nidágher uttapta dupure
Varśáy jalasikta núpure
Sharate shepháliite bhejá shishire
Kata káje bhávanáy

Hemante d́eke gechi himel háoyáy
Shiite keṋpe d́ekechi dáruń jaŕatáy
Vasante kishalaye phula suśamáy
Apsará rájyer rauṋin háoyáy

After ages aplenty You did arrive;
Unto You many times have I prayed come,
In much frightful gloom and much sunshine,
Night and day so very much...

On summer noon with temperature very high,
In monsoon with anklets drenched, rain thereby,
Dew-soaked in autumn with sorrow's tree blooming at night;
Through so much action and so much thought...

Under cold pre-winter winds, I've kept up the summons;
Shivering in winter, I've called through extreme inertia.
And on spring with new green leaves, a great beauty floral,
In climates colorful, ruled by apsaras...
