Notes
- ^ For details on the notation, see Roman Bengali transliteration.
- ^ Abhidhyán (অভিধ্যান) and Anudhyána (অনুধ্যান) are meditative techniques for attaining salvation. With abhidhyán the ideation is: "The Lord is my only object of meditation." With anudhyána, the ideation is: "Whatever may be my defects, still I will run after the Lord and catch Him."[3]
- ^ In the struggle to overcome ignorance of life's purpose, the spiritual aspirant takes help from Vidyámáyá, the introversive aspect of Prakrti (Nature). ''Vidyámáyá consists of two forces: (1) Samvit (সম্বিৎ), the sudden awareness of a truth that transcends relativity (2) Hládinii (হ্লাদিনী), a propelling force that transports to divinity.[4]
