Synopsis
Whatever Kála Puruśa giveth with one hand He taketh with the other. Intelligent people will remember this. It is said, "To ask for anything is to die. Don't beg." Wise people have added, "One gets pearls without asking, but fails to get even a penny if one asks." Therefore, never ask anything from Parama Puruśa. If the Lord does wish to give something, ask only for Him and nothing else.
Anandamurti starts the discourse by saying that in this created world, everything falls within the periphery of time, space, and person and thus is movable. Only the Supreme Entity is beyond the scope of the three factors and immovable. He then explains that human beings should disregard the myriad of possibilities and their noumenal causes and move towards the supreme noumenal entity, that which is fixed and unchangeable. Anandamurti goes on explaining that progress exists only in the spiritual arena, in moving towards Brahma. One should not ask for anything else but Him.[1]
