Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Ei sajala samiire susmitádhare
Tumi esechile mor ghare
Ásite balini basite balini
Ánanda chilo ánkhidháre

Ásan pátiyá nije base chile
Kushal samácár jene chile
Priitir stabak rekhe giye chile
Kusume surabhita kare

Sajal samiir ábár eneche
Tava gán káne shuniye caleche
Palake pulake abádha áloke
Bhásáyeche sur ságare

O lord, with this moist breeze and smiling lips,
you came to my home.
With my eyes full of tears of bliss,
i did not ask you to come in and sit.
you made the seat Yourself and sat,
and asked me about my welfare.
the offering of love remained
in the hands only full of floral fragrance.
the moist breeze came this time again,
making me listen to your song in my ears.
with momentary thrill, and unobstructed illumination,
it made me float in the ocean of melodies.
