Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Jiivanabeláy álora meláy
Ajáná pathik tumi ke go ele
Cená náhi jáy kabhu bhávanáy
Mane hay jena mor cená chile

Áloker utsave tumi gán shonáo
Práńer sakal sudhá akátare d́hele dáo
Tomár samán dátá náhi nikhile

Kona bádháte thámo ná kona máná máno ná
Patha calákále karo satyera sádhaná
Kii ná haite páre tumi cáhile

Upon life's shore with an exhibition of light,
Who are You that arrived, oh Unknown Pilgrim.
I cannot identify, but in thought all the time,
It's as if by mind recognition mine had been.

At splendor's festivity a song You sing;
All of heart's nectar You lavish ungrudgingly.
In the whole universe like Your giving nothing is.

You halt for no impediment, You heed no taboo;
While traveling on the path You pursue the Truth.
What is there that can't exist, should You wish!
