Agatira gati sabara pranati is the 435th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Agatira gati sabára prańati
Náo go karuńá kari
(Sab) Tiirthera pati práńera ákuti
Rákho go carańe dhari

Tomá lági phul surabhi viláy
Tomá tare phule madhu bhare jáy
Tomár parash marme bujhite
Sudhásáre sadá hiyá bhari

Tomá lági mahákáshe sur bháse
Tava mamatáy káche dúr áse
Tava prerańáy mor cidákáshe
Dhyáne dhárańáy tomá smari

Recourse of the weak, everyone's greeting,
Please be merciful to receive.
Lord of all shrines, object of life's yearning,
Keep us clinging to Your lotus feet.

Due to You, flowers scatter fragrance;
Due to You, nectar fills the flowers.
To realize Your touch in our very essence,
Hearts are constantly filled with ambrosial elixir.

Due to You, a melody floats in the heavenly sky;
But, by Your affection, the distant comes near.
By Your inspiration in the sky of my mind,[nb 2]
With right focus in meditation, I reflect on Thee.

Notes

  1. ^ For details on the notation, see Roman Bengali transliteration.
  2. ^ According to the Samsad Bengali-English Dictionary, cidákásha (চিদাকাশ) has multiple meanings, all of them pertinent here. In its loose but popular sense, the word simply means the canvas or firmament of mind. However, this line effectively establishes the broader meaning of cidákásha as the Supreme Entity, conceived as a placid and indifferent sky as well as the mind itself.
