Mishiye dobo pratikśańe

Rauṋer khelá vishvajoŕá
Rauṋe sabái átmahárá
Rauṋer phánus bhese je jáy

Áshár pradiip jvale cale
Sei phánuser sane

(আগুন) জ্বালালে কিংশুক বনে
বনের আগুন মনে এল
মন রাঙাল গানে গানে

রঙের নেশায় মন মেতেছে
রঙে ভুবন ভরে' গেছে
মোর রঙেতে তোমার রঙে
মিশিয়ে দোব প্রতিক্ষণে

রঙের খেলা বিশ্বজোড়া
রঙে সবাই আত্মহারা
রঙের ফানুস ভেসে' যে যায়
চিদাকাশের পানে
আশার প্রদীপ জ্বলে' চলে
সেই ফানুসের সনে

You have kindled a flame
as the red flower of silk cotton tree grove.
The forest fire came into mind,
and coloured it with song after song.
with intoxication of colour,
the mind is frenzied.
the world is filled with colours.
i shall continue to merge my colour
into yours each moment.
the paper balloon goes on floating
towards the firmament of the mind
and the lamp of hope goes on glowing
along with that balloon.
