Ásiyáche áj varaśá
Kliśt́a práńer bharasá
Shuśka shákháy shyámalimá elo
Dharitrii halo sarasá

Jaladhárá náve chande o sure
Ashani bhrúkut́i upekśá kare
Manamaiṋjile tále tále phele
Carańa báŕáye kii áshá

Eká base grhakońe bheve cali
Káre káche t́áni kárei bá pheli
Maner gabhiire meghmalláre
Dúre sare jáy niráshá

অঞ্জন এঁকে' জলদের
আসিয়াছে আজ বরষা
ক্লিষ্ট প্রাণের ভরসা
শুষ্ক শাখায় শ্যামলিমা এল
ধরিত্রী হ'ল সরসা

জলধারা নাবে ছন্দে ও সুরে
অশনি-ভ্রূকুটি উপেক্ষা করে'
মনমঞ্জিলে তালে তালে ফেলে'
চরণ বাড়ায়ে কী আশা

একা বসে' গৃহকোণে ভেবে' চলি
কারে কাছে টানি কারেই বা ফেলি
মনের গভীরে মেঘমল্লারে
দূরে সরে' যায় নিরাশা

Wearing dark eyemark,
the clouds come today
providing consolation
to the bereaved heart.
On the dry branches,
greenness came
and the earth became moist.
the flow of water
comes with rhythm and melody,
ignoring the frightening lightning.
it provides hope by gradually taking
forward rhythmic steps into the mental goal.
sitting alone in the corner of the house,
i go on thinking, whom to pull closer
and what to ignore.
in the depth of the mind,
through special cloud invoking melody,
all the disheartening is removed away.
