Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Áj mane paŕe bálukábeláy
Jhinuk kuŕáte giye
Cakiter paricay
Ogo mor manomay
Tumi chile páshe bhávera áveshe
Ámi chinu tanmay
Ogo mor manomay

Bujhite pári ni kata juga pare
Dekhilám ámi he priya tomáre
Sei theke tumi more ghire ghire
Bhásiyá calecho he cinmay

Din kśań tithi bhuliyá giyáchi
Se bálukábelá ár ná dekhechi
Smrtipat́e shudhu sájáye rekhechi
Tomár parash he giitimay

Today i remembered that at the sandy beach while
collecting the shells, i was introduced to you suddenly,
O my embodiment of consciousness. you were
nearby in the impulse of ideation and i was engrossed.
O dear i am unable to work out after how many ages,
I saw you. o the embodiment of consciousness,
since then, you have remained surrounding me throughout.
I have forgotten the day, time and moment. that sandy beach
I am unable to see any more. but only at the screen of my
memory i have kept decorated, your touch, o the embodiment of song.
