O lord,
With the light today at morning,
today in the dawn you came,
Of the new age You gave tidings.
and gave the message that a new era is approaching.
Darkness, You said, has gone by;
You told me how the darkness has faded away
In humanity You wakened life.
and humanity is enlivened.

Beneath only demonic tyranny
Had shriveled the humanity.
But now with demons cast aside,
Mankind is knowing of self-sacrifice.

The humanity was shrunk through excesses by demons.
Hey Steersman of the chariot effulgent,
Today that humanity has developed the inner strength
In hand You brought the waters of expectation.
of consciousness to remove those demons.
Having come, sweetly smiling You then sang...

And having gained what You'd wanted, went away.
O guide of the chariot of effulgence and cosmic goal,
You brought in hands the water of hope to shower on all.
You came, and with sweet smile,
fulfilling everyone's ultimate desire.

Aj prabhate alor sathe is the 2001st song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Áj prabháte álor sáthe
Nútan juger vártá dile
Balle áṋdhár ket́e geche
Mánavatáy práń jágále

Dánaveri atyácáre
Mánavatá chilo kuṋkŕe
Áj dánave sariye debe
Cetan mánav átmabale

Álor rather he dishárii
Ánle háte áshár vári
Gáile ese madhur hese
Ceyechile já peye gele

With the light today at morning,
Of the new age You gave tidings.
Darkness, You said, has gone by;
In humanity You wakened life.

Beneath only demonic tyranny
Had shriveled the humanity.
But now with demons cast aside,
Mankind is knowing of self-sacrifice.

Hey Steersman of the chariot effulgent,
In hand You brought the waters of expectation.
Having come, sweetly smiling You then sang...
And having gained what You'd wanted, went away.
