Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Áji mor vasanta jhariyá jáy avaheláy
Puśpamadhu saha jhará pátá háráy
Mukul akále shukáy avaheláy

Puśpakánan theke malay sariyá geche
Spandita tanimá dhúlijhaŕe d́heke geche
Tumi kotháy e duhsamay

Nava rúpe tumi eso práń bhará hási heso
Dikbhrántere dik dekháte bojháte eso
Tumi cháŕá keha náhi háy ei abeláy

Today, the spring of my life
decays due to negligence.

The flower with its nectardrops
bends low its old leaves.
And tender new leaves dry out untimely
due to negligence.

The sandal breeze of my floral garden went away.
Its vibrating gracefulness
became replaced by the dust of storms.

Where are you at such a bad time of mine?
O lord, come and smile overwhelmingly.

Come to show the proper direction
to this direction lost person.
Except you,
there is no one at this bad time, alas.
