Alakar dut ese hese bale is the 2155th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Alakár dút ese hese bale
Esechi ámi esechi
Duhkh dekhechi vedaná bujhechi
Chut́e ese gechi

Mánuśe mánuśe ei hánáháni
Kena kare jáy kárań ná jáni
Sampad jáhá sabákár
Táhá mápiyá diyáchi

Sakaler tare sakale tomrá
Sabár svárthe báṋcá ár mará
Eki parivárbhukta tomrá
E kathá jániyechi

Come smiling, the Harbinger of Plenty[nb 2] speaks:
"I have come, yes, I have come.
The grief I've seen, feelings of pain I've fathomed;
Hence I've come in a rush.

"This clash among humans,
I don't know why it happens.
As far as the wealth of all,
That in measure I have given.

"For the sake of everybody, you are with everyone;
To stay alive or die is self-interest held in common.
Of the same family all of you are a portion;
This fact I've imparted."

Notes

  1. ^ For details on the notation, see Roman Bengali transliteration.
  2. ^ Often Alaká is loosely translated as "Heaven". However, technically, it refers to the kingdom of Kuvera, the Hindu mythological god of affluence. In context, a more precise meaning is preferred.
