While treading the path of light,
Upon light's path ever to forge ahead,
if anytime fog comes,
At any time if come a mist,
it would be destroyed
Then by Your kindness let it be dispelled;
since you are with me all the time.
Endlessly with me persist.
with that flower

i shall make the offering to You,
That flower I will offer You with reverence,
which i have preserved making insect free.
So I may guard it free from insect,
only the honey remains from beginning to end.
Bud's nectar only will endure
i shall see You in your light,
From start up to the finish.
by your ideation, i shall satisfy you.

i am yours, You are mine,
By Your light Yourself I'll see;
i am drop of water and you are ocean.
Musing on Thee Yourself I'll please.
Yes I am Yours, and also You are mine;
But drop am I, You are the ocean.

Aloker pathe calite calite is the 2374th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Áloker pathe calite calite
Kuyáshá kabhu áse jadi
Tava karuńáy jena sare jáy
Theko mor sáthe niravadhi

Se kusum dobo arghya tomáre
Rákhi jena kiit́amukta kare
Koraker madhu theke jábe shudhu
Ádi theke anta avadhi

Tomár áloke tomáre dekhibo
Tava bhávanáy tomáre tuśibo
Ámi je tomár tumio ámár
Bindu ámi tumi niiradhi

Upon light's path ever to forge ahead,
At any time if come a mist,
Then by Your kindness let it be dispelled;
Endlessly with me persist.

That flower I will offer You with reverence,
So I may guard it free from insect,
Bud's nectar only will endure
From start up to the finish.

By Your light Yourself I'll see;
Musing on Thee Yourself I'll please.
Yes I am Yours, and also You are mine;
But drop am I, You are the ocean.
