Alor devata eseche is the 1177th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Álor devatá eseche
Tamasár masii sareche
Ákáshe vatáse e madhu váratá
Nimeśe chaŕiye paŕeche

Je áṋdhár chila súciibhedya
Utkramań chila asádhya
Kśańike tá hala bádhya
Rátrir tapasyá phale bhareche

Jiiverá ánande atmahárá
Phulerá hayeche svayambará
Sudhásaritár niir kánáy kánáy bhará
Udvel haye ut́heche

The lord of light has come
and the darkness of night has gone.

This sweet news spread
into the sky
and into the air
within moments.

The deep darkness,
which seemed impossible to cross,
was resisted within fractions of time
and the endeavour carried out at night
became fruitful.

Living beings submerged theselves in bliss,
flowers prepared themselves to select their choice.

The river is full to the brim with nectar
and has become restless.
