Álor devatá eseche

Áloy svapnamadir kare
Álor jharńá t́hikre paŕe
Áloy náshe sakal kálo
Báhir bhitarete

Áṋdhár májhe álor káṋpan
Tamer buke shiver nácan
Muktajat́á dhúrjat́i áj
Elo dhará dite

আলোর ধারা নেচে' চলে
ধূলোর এ ধরাতে
আলোর দেবতা এসেছে
সবার হৃদয়েতে

আলোয় স্বপ্নমদির করে'
আলোর ঝর্ণা ঠিকরে' পড়ে
আলোয় নাশে সকল কালো
বাহির-ভিতরেতে

আঁধার মাঝে আলোর কাঁপন
তমের বুকে শিবের নাচন
মুক্তজটা ধূর্জটি আজ
এল ধরা দিতে

The stream of light keeps on dancing
On this dusty Earth.
The Lord of Splendor has appeared
In everybody's heart.

With rays made in a heady dream,
The light-cascade falls beaming.
All darkness is dispelled by light,
Externally and on the inside.

Amid the gloom, light's tremors,
Is Shiva's dancing in dark's bosom.
Dhurjati,[nb 2] matted locks unloosed today,
He came to grant embrace.
