Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Ámáke balechilo se
Bhávaná tomár kise
Ámi áchi tumi keṋdo ná
Ámáke balechilo se
Ásibe sonálii álo
Náshibe sakala kálo
Mor kathá jena bhulo ná

Ákáshe tárára málá
Bale nao ekelá
Cáṋder hásite bhule jábe
Vyathá vedaná

Griiśmer dávadáhe
Jválá jadi náhi sahe
Malayánile ene debe
Madhu dyotaná

Káháro vákyaváńe
Vyathá jadi láge práńe
Pika pápiyár sur sudhásár
Saráve jata játaná

He had told me,

“do not worry at all, i am there, you do not cry.
The golden light will come and destroy all darkness.
Do not forget these words of mine.

Even the cluster of stars in the sky, are never alone,
with the light from the moon, they would forget their pain and agony.
If due to intense heat of the summer, you cannot bear the burns,
by bringing sandal breeze, i shall provide sweet soothing expression.
If, due to any humiliating words, your feelings are hurt,
by getting essence of nectar from the melody of peacock and papiha,
I shall remove all tortures.”
